Word Sound Power - Lab

The latest tune from producer Chris McGuinness and Delhi Sultanate's Word Sound Power (wordsoundpower.org) project. News clips and a soundbite from Orissa's Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik introduce the themes of violent struggles plagueing such large swathes of India, contemplated by Delhi Sultanate's fiery and indignant lyrics. Chris McGuinness' deep and innovative riddim samples Bhanwre Ne Khilaya Phool, from the 1982 Raj Kapoor film Prem Rog, infusing the tune with a menacing and tense atmosphere.
